Tamarack Lumber is one of Canada's largest manufacturers of roof trusses for the homebuilders market. Truss manufacturing begins with a set of plans that a builder supplies to us. A truss designer creates a truss plan from the information shown on the architectural drawings, then an engineer will approve and stamp the truss design and calculation. The estimating file is sent to the production department, which converts the file into production drawings. Trusses are produced, packaged and shipped to the job site in roll-off trailers that will place the load where it is most convenient for the contractor.
